Anyway (and I'm sure you already knew this sneaky fella) the reason why is that the games are ports from the 360; therefore optimized for the 360 and most developers aren't taking the time to unravel intricacies of the PS3 at this time due to the 360 being the lead platform. Obviously this can't be said for all developers as some MP games on the PS3 look just the same and even have extra features and in some cases look better (FNR3, Oblivion, ...
